HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNGARY!! Aug.20.2010.


Activities all day long from military boat parade on the Danube, to Gastro happenings on the Buda Promenade and the Castle District area around Matthias Church.
Get as many vouchers as possible for free brandy sampling:-)and do not miss to taste the giant country cake next to the St.Stephen's Bazilika.

9 a.m. – The official presentation of the flag of the Hungarian Republic

From 9:45 a.m. – Parade of marching bands and the National Equestrian Squad of the Republic of Hungary. Inauguration ceremony of soldiers to the army
From Oktogon towards Heroes’ Square
5 p.m. – March of the Holy Right and Holy Mass
Szent István tér
6 p.m. – WishChain – Live radio show and charity show for the victims of the June floods
8 p.m. – The Presentation of the ‘Country’s Cake’
9 p.m. – Fireworks alongside the Danube
9:30 p.m. – Concerts (Pest side of the Chain Bridge)
