March, 15th Revolution Day (14-15/03 bank holiday). Day of the lost revolution against the Habsburg domination in 1948. The reason we don’t clink beer glasses when making a toast is due to the tradition of remembering how Austrians celebrated the excution of 13 Hungarian generals by clinking their beer glasses.
